Good-bye Paris, hello California! French championship in Paris has left us with some sweet memories. Now we are catching a new wind in our sails, preparing for the next exciting, but challenging adventure, – The World Championship! We are so proud to be selected to represent France at the World Dance Championship 2013 in California in September this year! Vive la France! 😉 The World Championship in Latin American Dancing is going to take place in California on the 1st of September 2013. Diana Buraka and Florent Trarieux are representing France at the World Championship 2013
One Dance, One Chance! Gone to perform in Paris to be chosen for the World Dance Championship in California. Bliss! ‘Je me sens un peu comme Jeanne d’Arc’ :-))
Getting ready for my last dance competition in the 2012. French Open is quite a special championship since it takes place in Disney in Paris. Don’t get me wrong – we are not dressing up there in the Mickey mouse costumes :-))), it is just taking place in the Disneyland in Paris, in the Wonderland! So, I am still rehearsing my magic spell that I am going to cast on the judges ☺))) But for now, I still need to finish sewing my Snow White dress for this Saturday ☺
WORLD DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2012 is THE competition, that I am so looking forward to! I am packing my suitcase for tomorrow’s early flight to Innsbruck, Austria. (every following WM is happening in a different country, like Olympics). This Saturday we’ll be proudly walking under the French flag at the opening ceremony at the World Masters, because we won the French Close championship previously and were selected by the French Dance Council to represent this great country.
I have already started to brush up on my French knowledge. Ironically, I will be missing my first French class tomorrow because of the World Masters… By now I’ve learned only – ‘Vive La France!’ ;-))
Dancing at the Dutch Open Professional Latin championship tonight. It is always a special experience – no empty seats in the ballroom and a great positive atmosphere! Starting my warm up now and looking forward to the evening!
